VNV Nation are anelectronic music band originally fromWexford andLondon, now based inHamburg, that combines elements oftrance,synthpop andelectronic body music (EBM), into what they callfuturepop. Earlier works also include someelectro-industrial influences. The members areRonan Harris andMark Jackson.
The "VNV" in the name stands forVictory, not Vengeance, in keeping with the group'smotto, "One should strive to achieve; not sit in bitter regret.[1]"
