Thompson Twins were an Englishalternative rock band formed in 1977.[1] The group disbanded in May 1993. They weresuccessful in having threetop ten hits in theUS.[2] When the group did not move past theirSynthpop sound they lost their popularity.[2] Through most of their career there were three members. However none were twins and none were named Thompson.[3]
