Tengyō (天慶) was aJapanese era name (年号,nengō, lit. "year name") afterJōhei and beforeTenryaku. This period spanned the years from May 938[1] through April 947.[2] The reigning emperors wereSuzaku-tennō (朱雀天皇) andMurakami-tennō (村上天皇).[3]
