The Dagukou Fort was the firstbuilt in the Jiajing period of theMing Dynasty, under the supervision of Qi Jiguang, who was stationed inTianjin Wei in his early years. In the 21st year of Daoguangin the QingDynasty (1841), the Qing government built and maintained the Dagukou Fort. In the eighth year of Xianfengin the QingDynasty (1858), it continued to be repaired and expanded. Three forts were added on the south bank, and two forts were added on the north bank. for the title.
