Steven Leslie Berks (born 3 August 1937), known professionally asSteven Berkoff, is an English character actor, author,playwright andtheatre director.

As an actor, he is best known for his performances in villainous roles, such as Lt. Col Podovsky inRambo: First Blood Part II,General Orlov in theJames Bond movieOctopussy,Victor Maitland inBeverly Hills Cop andAdolf Hitler in the TV mini-seriesWar and Remembrance.[1] He also played Det. Const. Tom in the 1971 movieA Clockwork Orange.[2][3]
