Staryl Chester Austin, Jr. (September 16, 1920 – January 1, 2015) was anAmericanbrigadier general in theUnited States Air Force.[1] He was a former AssistantAdjutant General of Oregon and the 142nd Fighter Group’s Air Officer, Chief of the Administrative Division. He was a member of theOregon Aviation Hall of Honor.[2][3][4]

Austin died on January 1, 2015 at the age of 94.[5][6]
