Inmusic, aside project is a musicalproject by one or more people who are alreadyfamous for their work in anotherband. The term "side project" can also be used when a musician changes theirstyle. Side projects usually happen so that a musician can do music that they would not normally do as part of the band.

An example of this is the Japanese band Poppin’Party.
