Seth Adam Meyers (born December 28, 1973) is anAmericanactor,voice actor,screenwriter,producer,television host andcomedian. He is best known forhostingNBC'sSaturday Night Live news parody segmentWeekend Update and the NBCtalk showLate Night with Seth Meyers.[1] Thelatter programpremiered on February 24, 2014.[2]
Meyers was born inEvanston, Illinois to Hillary and Lawrence Meyers.[1] in 1996 hegraduated fromNorthwestern University.[1] After college he and his brother Josh moved toAmsterdam.[3] They joined acomedy improv group calledBoom Chicago.[3] In 2001 he auditioned forproducerLorne Michaels ofSaturday Night Live and joined thecast that same year.[1]
