In 2014, Sam Harris appeared onBill Maher’s show and criticizedIslam soBen Affleck accused him ofracism and Harris ended up debatingCenk Uygur about what he had said. Sam Harris also caused controversy when heinterviewedCharles Murray withEzra Klein accusing him of racistpseudoscience for doing that so Harrisdebated Ezra Klein. Harris called himself part of theIntellectual Dark Web until 2020 when he said he was leaving because the Intellectual Dark Web had become too pro-Trump. In 2021, Harris was criticized byDave Rubin andBret Weinstein for saying he was grateful toJack Dorsey for banningDonald Trump fromTwitter.
