Roehampton is a small suburban village inSouthwestLondon. Historically Roehampton was awealthy town. Some of the greatmansions of the 1700s are now used by colleges of theUniversity of Roehampton.[1] The university was founded in 2004. In 2007 theNational Tennis Centre was set up in Roehampton. It has 22 courts and is atraining facility for some of Britain's toptennis players.[2] It also hosts thequalifying rounds forthe Wimbledon championships.[3] ThePriory Hospital at Roehampton is amental healthhospital. It isinternationally known for thetreatment ofcelebrities with variousaddictions.[4]
