Quaraí is anBrazilian municipality in the state ofRio Grande do Sul. It is on the border withUruguay. In 2020, 22,607 people lived there. Its area is 3,147.63 km2, which makes it one of the largest municipalities in the state.[1] Its elevation is 112 m. It is 590 km west of the state capital ofPorto Alegre, northeast of the Uruguayan capital ofMontevideo, and southeast ofAlegrete.
