"Podcast News" is the 6th episode of the32nd season ofThe Simpsons. It was first shown ontelevision on November 15, 2020. In the episode,Grampa Simpson isaccused of doing amurder.Kent Brockman makes apodcast about the murder.
Marge andLisa get anaddiction for listening to podcasts aboutcrime.Homer andBart visitGrampa at aretirement home. Grampa shows them his newgirlfriend, Vivienne St. Charmaine. On the next day, theSimpson family watchnews on television and learn that Vivienne is dead. Grampa is aprime suspect, but he says he does not remember what happened.Kent Brockman makes a podcast about the murder called "Guilty Grampa". The podcast makes everyone inSpringfield think that Grampa killed Vivienne. Grampa thinks that he did do the murder andconfesses. He is taken tojail. While the last episode of "Guilty Grampa" is being recorded,Dr. Hibbert says that Vivienne did not die. She went to aresort inMexico so that Grampa could give her money forinsurance.
