Plastic pollution is when there is a lot ofplastic in theenvironment and it negatively affects animals, animalhabitats or people.[1] Many things are made of plastic because it is inexpensive and durable.[2] Most plastics will notbiodegrade, so they stay in the environment for a long time.[3] That results in a lot of plastic pollution in the environment.
