Pico de Orizaba, also known as:Citlaltépetl (inNahuatl:Sitlaltepetl ‘estrella-monte-ABS’‘Monte de la Estrella), is aMexicanstratovolcano[4] located between the states ofPuebla andVeracruz and is the highestmountain inMexico and the third inNorth America, belowDenali inAlaska andMount Logan inCanada, and It is the highest volcano.[5][6][7][8][9]

Its last eruption was in1846. Currently it is in a dormant state, it is the second highest volcanic peak in the world belowKilimanjaro inTanzania, it is also the only volcano in the world with Frozen Lava inside.[10]
