Passerea is a clade of birds that was created by Jarvis et al. (2014).[2] Their study recovered two clades inNeoaves, Passerea andColumbae, both clades are unique in their ways, but are also similar. Which included the foot-diving ofgrebes, and bothloons andcormorants. This data was not recovered in other studies.[3][1]
