Papa Bouba Diop (28 January 1978 – 29 November 2020) was a Senegalese professionalfootballer. He played defensive midfield but he could also play as a centre back. He played atLens. He played for thenational team from 2001 to 2008.
Diop died inParis on 29 November 2020 fromCharcot–Marie–Tooth disease andamyotrophic lateral sclerosis at the age of 42.[2]
