This is aKorean name; thefamily name isPaik.

Paik Sun-yup (Korean:백선엽,Hanja 白善燁, November 23, 1920 – July 10, 2020) was aSouth Koreansoldier,politician anddiplomat.[1]

Paik was an army commander in theKorean War.[2]

Paik died on July 10, 2020 inSeoul at the age of 99.[3]
