Narcos is an AmericanNetflix drama-crime series created andproduced byChris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, andDoug Miro. It was first released on August 28, 2015.

Seasons one and two are based on the story ofPablo Escobar, who became a billionaire through the production and selling ofcocaine.^[1]^[2] Season three picks up after the fall of Escobar and continues to follow the DEA as they go up against the rise of the infamousCali Cartel.

The series starsWagner Moura as Escobar alongsidePedro Pascal,Boyd Holbrook,Luis Guzmán,Stephanie Sigman,Paulina Gaitán,Gabriela de la Garza andRaúl Méndez asPresident César Gaviria withPatrick St. Esprit as Major Lou Wysession.
