Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame

TheNaismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is an American history museum andhall of fame. It is located at 1000 Hall of Fame Avenue inSpringfield, Massachusetts. It is basketball's most complete library, in addition to promoting and preserving thehistory of basketball.[1]

It was dedicated toCanadian-American physician and inventor of the sportJames Naismith, it was opened and inducted its first class in 1959.
