Monty Python and the Holy Grail is the second movie made byMonty Python. It was made in 1974 and was very successful. It is still very popular, and considered one of the best comedy films ever made. It was also made into amusical calledSpamalot.

Story

This is acomedy aboutKing Arthur's search for theHoly Grail. He gathers a group ofknights around him. They do not ridehorses - instead, theyclap coconut halves together, to make the sound of a horsegalloping. They search for the grail, but keep on gettingdistracted bypeasants (poorfarmers) who want to talk aboutpolitics, orFrench knightsinsulting them.

The movie was made inScotland.
