Miranda Taylor Cosgrove (born May 14, 1993) is anAmericanactress and recording artist. She was born inLos Angeles,California. She first started her career in 1998 in various commercials. She is best known for her roles as Megan Parker inDrake and Josh, Summer Hathaway inSchool of Rock and her lead role as Carly Shay inNickelodeon'siCarly. She has also guest-starred in shows likeZoey 101. She also had her debut soundtrack album calledSparks Fly in April 2010 andHigh Maintenance in March 2011. She is also best known for voicing Margo in theDespicable Me films.
