Michael Bennett (born May 16, 1985) is an Americanprofessional wrestler. He currently wrestles forAll Elite Wrestling (AEW) and their sister promotionRing of Honor (ROH). He is a member of TheUndisputed Kingdomstable.
Bennett has also made appearances inRing of Honor (ROH) (before AEW's buyout),New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW),Impact Wrestling, andWWE. In WWE, he was known by the ring nameMike Kanellis.
Bennett has won many championships over the course of his career. In NJPW, he was a one-timeIWGP Tag Team Champion. In ROH, he is a three-timeROH World Tag Team Champion and the winner of the Top Prospect Tournament in 2011. In Impact/TNA, he was a one-timeTNA X Division Champion and one-timeImpact World Tag Team Champion, and in WWE, he was a two-timeWWE 24/7 Champion.
On the October 14, 2022 episode ofRampage, Bennett made his AEW alongsideMatt Taven andMaria Kanellis.[1] On the January 6, 2023 episode ofRampage, Bennett challengedDarby Allin for hisAEW TNT Championship but was unsuccessful.[2]
AtSupercard of Honor, Bennett and Taven entered the"Reach for the Sky" ladder match in an attempt to win the vacantROH World Tag Team Championships but the match was won by TheLucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo andRey Fénix).[3] AtDeath Before Dishonor, Bennett and Taven challenged for theROH World Tag Team Championship in afour-way tag team match but it was won byAussie Open (Kyle Fletcher andMark Davis).[4] In December 2023, Bennett and Taven wore masks and were called "The Devil's Masked Men". AtNew Year's Smash, they both defeatedMJF in ahandicap match to win the ROHWorld Tag Team Championship.[5] AtWorlds End, Bennett and Taven were revealed as the masked men and they created theUndisputed Kingdomstable, alongsideAdam Cole,Roderick Strong, andWardlow.[6]
AtBattle of the Belts XI, The Undisputed Kingdom challenged The Sons ofTexas (Dustin Rhodes,Marshall Von Erich, andRoss Von Erich) for the vacantROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships but were unsuccessful.[7] On the August 17 episode ofCollision, The Undisputed Kingdom lost the ROH World Tag Team Championships to Dustin Rhodes andSammy Guevara.[8] On the September 21 episode ofCollision, Bennett and Taven challenged Sons of Texas to a rematch for the ROH World Tag Team Title in aBunkhouse Brawl but lost.[9]
On October 10, 2014, Bennett married fellow professional wrestlerMaria Kanellis.[10] They have two children together.[11][12]
