Michael Sean Coulthard (born December 8, 1966),[1] better known by hisstage nameMichael Cole, is anAmericanprofessional wrestlingcommentator and former newsjournalist. He is the currentplay-by-play announcer forWWE'sSmackDownbrand and the vice president of announcing since 2020.[2] Cole alsoguest refereed a couple ofdark matches and competed in his first match againstJerry Lawler atWrestleMania XXVII. In 2010, he became aheel, and turnedface again in 2012.
