McPherson County (standard abbreviation:MP) is acounty in theU.S. state ofKansas. In2020, 30,223 people lived there.[1] The biggest city isMcPherson. It is also thecounty seat.[2] The county is named after Civil WarGeneral James B. McPherson.[3]
