Markazi (Persian:استان مرکزی) is one of the 30provinces ofIran. The wordmarkazi meanscentral in Persian.[2] There are about 1,350,000 people living in the Markazi Province currently.

Some of the biggest cities of the province are:Saveh,Arak,Mahallat,Khomein,Delijan,Tafresh,Ashtian, andShazand.
