Marion Lois Jones (born October 12, 1975), also known asMarion Jones-Thompson, is an American former world championtrack-and-field athlete and former professional basketball player. She won three gold medals and two bronze medals at the2000 Summer Olympics inSydney, Australia. In 2007, Jones admitted that she usedsteroids.[2] and theInternational Olympic Committee took away her five medals and she was sentenced to six months in prison.
