macOS Tahoe (version 26) is a twenty-second major version ofmacOS developed byApple inc.[1] It was announced on June 9, 2025 atApple Worldwide Developers Conference and released on September 15, 2025.[2][3][4]
macOS Tahoe has a new design called "Liquid Glass" which included in app icons and desktop.[5] It hasChatGPT and other AI models for Xcode.[6] It has a phone app and live activities.[7][8] Spotlight lets users take hundreds of actions.[9] Users able to create and vote poll in iMessage.
The first developer beta of macOS Tahoe has been released on June 9, 2025 and the second developer beta of macOS has been released on June 23, 2025. macOS Tahoe is the last update for Intel Macs.[10]
