Luby's is a chain ofcafeteria-style restaurants in Texas. It also owned theFuddruckers, Koo Koo Roo, and Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant chains. It has 38 locations inTexas. Its headquarters is in the Near Northwest district ofHouston, Texas. The original location was founded in 1947 inSan Antonio, Texas, by Robert Luby (1910–1998).
