Levi Strauss & Co. is anAmericanclothingcompany. It makes Levi'sdenim bluejeans. It was founded inSan Francisco,California in May 1853.[1]

Levi's jeans were worn especially often in the "blue jeans craze" between the 1960s and the 1990s.

As of 2016, the Levi Strauss Signature jeans are sold in 110 countries.[2]

In March 2019, Levi's started on theNew York Stock Exchange by the ticker "LEVI".[3]
