Juan Habichuela ( Juan Carmona Carmona; 1933 – 30 June 2016)[1][2] was aSpanish flamenco guitarist. He began his artistic life as a dancer, and later learned guitar.

He wrote songs with many famous Spanish musicians such asManolo Caracol,Juan Valderrama,Fosforito, andEnrique Morente. He was nominated for theLatin Grammy Award for Best Flamenco Album in 2000. Habichuela received theLatin Grammy Trustees Award in 2012 for "significant contributions, other than performance, to the field of recording during their careers".[3]
