John Charles Layfield (born November 29, 1966),[1] better known by thering namesBradshaw andJohn "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL),[2][3] is an American retiredprofessional wrestler andfootball player. Layfield is working for theWorld Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWE) since 1995, currently as acommentator andmanager. Outside of wrestling, he works as a financial analyst forFox News and has also commentated and hosted for themixed martial arts promotion Vyper Fight League.

He has won many titles in his career: He most famously held theWWE Championship one time for 280 days, theHardcore Championship 17 times and theWWF Tag Team Championship three times withFaarooq as theAcolytes Protection Agency (APA). Layfield was inducted into theWWE Hall of Fame in 2021.[7]
