Henry John Heinz III (October 23, 1938 – April 4, 1991) was anAmerican politician fromPennsylvania and the great-grandson of the founder ofH. J. Heinz Company. He was a member of theUnited States House of Representatives from 1971 to 1977 and was a USsenator from 1977 to 1991. He was killed in a plane crash in 1991.
