Ifugao is aprovince in thePhilippines. It is in theCordillera Administrative Region. The capital isLagawe.

TheRice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras andBanaue Rice Terraces are the main tourist attractions in the province. These terraces were carved into the mountains 2,000 years ago to plant rice. In 1995, the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras were declared aUNESCOWorld Heritage Site.[1]

In 2008 and 2015, theHudhud chants of the Ifugao and thePunnuk (Tugging rituals and games) were inscribed in theUNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.[2][3]
