Ramadan dinner known as iftar

Iftar (Arabic:إفطار) alsoAfur in (Somali language) refers to the eveningmeal forbreaking (fasting) during theIslamicmonth of Ramadan.Muslims[1] fast in theholymonth ofRamadan.At the time ofMaghrib (just after sunset) they eat and drink.

Dua for iftar is

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
"Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and thereward is sure, ifAllah wills." [1]
