iPhone OS 3 is a mobile operating system developed byApple.[1][2] It was released on June 17, 2009[3][4] and was succeded byiOS 4 in 2010.
iPhone OS 3 introduced the ability for users to copy, cut and paste text, Global spotlight search,[5] a landscape keyboard and the Find My iPhone app was able to track devices for users who were subscribed to Apple’s MobileMe service.
