Gianfranco ZolaOBE (born 5 July 1966) is anItalian formerfootball player. He is currently the vice-president of Lega Pro, the organisation for the ItalianSerie C football league.
As a footballer he played forNapoli,Parma,Chelsea andCagliari He was renowned for his technique, skill and dribbling. In total, he played in 632 league games and scored 184 goals in his career. He became manager of West Ham on11 September2008, replacingAlan Curbishley, after he stopped working asItaly Under-21's manager.
