Generation X, commonly abbreviated toGen X, is the generation born after the WesternPost–World War II baby boom and before theMillennials. Generation X are generally defined as the people born from 1965 to 1980.[1][2][3][4][5] This generation is sometimes defined as those born from 1965 to 1979.
