Göztepe Spor Kulübü (Turkish pronunciation: [ɟœztepe spoɾ kulyby], Göztepe Sports Club) also known asGöztepe, is aTurkishsports club based in theGöztepe andGüzelyalı neighborhoods ofİzmir.
The club became theTurkish champions in1950. In 1969 Göztepe became the firstTurkish football team to play a semi-final inEuropean competitions.[1]
