Fabricio "Fab"Paulino de Melo (20 June 1990 – 11 February 2017) was aBrazilian professionalbasketball player. He played as acenter. In theUnited States, he played for theBoston Celtics of theNational Basketball Association (NBA) andSyracuse Orange. In Brazil, he played forLSB andBrasília of theNovo Basquete Brasil (NBB).

Melo was born inJuiz de Fora,Minas Gerais. He moved to the U.S. and graduated fromhigh school in 2010.

Melo died from an apparentheart attack on 11 February 2017 in Juiz de Fora. He was 26.^[1]
