Environmental factor

Anenvironmental factor (also calledeco factor) is any factor which influences livingorganisms. Abiotic factors include ambienttemperatures, the amounts ofsunlight andPH ofwater soil in which organisms live. Biotic factors include the availability offood organisms and the presence ofpredators,parasites andcompetitors.

Cancers are often related to environmental factors.[1] Having ahealthy diet, healthy weight, limitingalcoholic drinks and quitting or not startingsmoking cuts down the risks of getting cancer.

Environmental triggers forasthma andautism have been studied also.[2]
