Edward Charles Morice Fox (born 13 April 1937) is an English actor.[1] His brother is actorJames Fox.
Fox played the part of the professional assassin, known only as the"Jackal", who is hired to assassinate the French PresidentCharles de Gaulle in the summer of 1963, in the movieThe Day of the Jackal (1973). He playedEdward VIII in the Britishtelevision drama seriesEdward & Mrs. Simpson (1978).
