TheDivision of Lalor is aFederal Electoral Division for theAustralian House of Representatives in the state ofVictoria. It is located in the outer westernsuburbs ofMelbourne. It includes the suburbs ofWerribee,Point Cook,Laverton,Rockbank andMelton.

The Division was drawn up on 11 May 1949, for the 1949 Federal election. It was named afterPeter Lalor, the leader of the miners at theEureka Stockade, and a former member of theVictorian Legislative Assembly.

Barry Jones was the Minister for Science underBob Hawke and Labor National President.Jim Cairns, was theTreasurer and Deputy Prime Minister underGough Whitlam.
