Deni Alar (born 18 January 1990) is an Austrian professionalfootballer. He plays as astriker for Austrian Regionalliga clubDSV Leoben.
He started his career with FC Zeltweg and DSV Leoben. Then he played forAustrian Football Bundesliga sideKapfenberger SV. He debuted in the Bundesliga on 2 May 2009 versusSV Ried. The next team wasRapid Wien from 2011 till 2016.[1] This transfer was announced on 3 June 2011.
After this time he went to SK Sturm Graz. On 9 May 2018 he played as Sturm Graz beatRed Bull Salzburg in extra time in the 2017/18Austrian Cup.[2] 2018 he returned to Rapid Wien. On 26 June 2019, he was loaned toLevski Sofia.[3]
On 28 June 2021 he went toSKN St. Pölten.[4] After this year he went toFirst Vienna.[5]With Vienna he became Champion and the team was promoted to the Second League.[6]
He played 16 matches for the Austrian national U21 team. He was first called in theAustria national team for a2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier againstRepublic of Ireland in June 2017.[7] On 14 November 2017 he debuted for the team in a 2–1 victory in a friendly againstUruguay.[8]
