Adelta wing is awing used onfixed-wing aircraft, mainlysupersonicfighter aircraft. Delta wings aretriangles. Some were "tailless" (which means they had no elevators) and others were "tailed." Many of theDassault Aviation Mirages had delta wings (like theMirage III,Mirage V,Mirage 50, andMirage 2000).
