David Niven (March 1, 1910 – July 29, 1983) was an English actor. He won theAcademy Award for "Best Actor" for his role in themovieSeparate Tables in1958. Originally, he was the actor who was to play the firstJames Bond, but theproducers later decided to give the role toSean Connery instead. Some of the movies that he was in include The Pink Panther, Around the World in 80 Days, The Guns of Navarone, and Casino Royale.
