Dallas Long

Dallas Crutcher Long (June 13, 1940 – November 10, 2024) was an Americantrack and field athlete. He mostly competed in theshot put. He won an Olympic bronze medal in1960 and a gold medal in1964. He also won a silver medal during the1959 Pan American Games. Long was born inPine Bluff, Arkansas.

Long died on November 10, 2024 underhospice care inWhitefish, Montana from problems caused byParkinson's disease at the age of 84.[1][2]
