Copra is the dried inside of coconuts, the fruit of thecoconut palm. This is usually a white substance, which is high invegetable oil. Usually, it is processed intococonut oil. The name comes fromMalayalam: In Malayalam,koppara meams dried coconut. What is left after the oil has been extracted is known as coconut cake, and used as food forlivestock.
