TheCentral Governorate was one of the fivegovernorates ofBahrain until 23 September 2014. It includes parts of the former municipalities ofAl Mintaqah al Wusta,Ar Rifa' wa al Mintaqah al Janubiyah,Madinat 'Isa,Sitrah andA'ali.
