CBS Corporation (also known as CBS Entertainment in production) was an Americanmass media corporation focused onbroadcasting,publishing, andtelevision production. Until 2005, the company was known asViacom. A new company, keeping theViacom name, wasspun off from CBS.
In 2019, CBS Corporation andViacom weremerged together. This createdViacomCBS, a combination of the two companies. The merger was finished on December 4, 2019.[3]
