Border dispute

Aborder dispute is when two governments or more do not agree on the location of theborder between their lands. An example isPakistan andIndia over the territory ofKashmir. Another example isKosovo whichSerbia believe is theirs. An historical example is theHoney War betweenIowa andMissouri.

Wars are sometimes fought over border disputes.Irredentism is often a border dispute.
